A Raven’s Call Film Premiere

Fear as a Teacher: A Qualla-Ween Mini Exhibit

The Museum of the Cherokee People – October 1st-31st, 9am to 5pm

Fear as a Teacher: A Qualla-Ween Mini Exhibit will be presented in the Museum of the Cherokee People’s Store. The exhibit will highlight the Cherokee legends that use fear to teach important lessons and will feature Cherokee art that embodies motifs of these important lessons. Fear as a Teacher will be an expression of Cherokee oral history and will highlight the importance of following our Cherokee lessons and values present in the power of story that has and always will exist as a central part of Cherokee culture. motcp.org

Longman Murder Mystery

589 Tsali Blvd – October 24th & 25th, 10am to 6pm.

Who killed Cricket Jackson? Follow the clues around Cherokee, NC to find out. This murder mystery scavenger hunt is hosted by the Sequoyah Fund. The game starts outside of The Museum of the Cherokee People. Guesses must be turned in by 6pm. Happy hunting! sequoyahfund.org
